Close Up And Private blog
created Close Up And Private Look
to buy on PRIVATECLASSICIST.COM
CUAP now decided to take it one step further. It is going to be continuing collaborations with an international rage of heritage brands and skilled craftsmen.
Recently created WWW.PRIVATECLASSICIST.COM is an attempt to create clothes accordingly to CLOSE UP AND PRIVATE's etiquette for the modern classicist, written in 2010.
We want to create basic collection of clothes and accessories with love to details and cuts by choosing collaborators, who share our ideas and have the finest standards of craftsmanship. We believe that clothes shall be democratic, stylish and comfortable.
With the help of the organization CPHmade Sergei Sviatchenko found the company Leather Projects, when he started to look for talented craftsmen.
Sergei sat down with the owner and founder, Jeppe Dencker, and there was an instant connection through a mutual passion for quality and style, and it didn’t take long before a list of ideas had been written down.
Together they designed a classic belt, but with a modern twist and a clever color detail. Handmade limited edition belt collection, delivered in box.
The collaboration will be presented during Copenhagen Fashion Week in August 2014 with an exhibition and video film by Noriko Okaku (UK/JP).
LeatherProjects is a small leather goods company founded by Jeppe Dencker in 2011.
They have been recognized for their timeless and minimalistic approach to men’s accessories. They are focused on the heritage and craftsmanship of their trade and this is why all of the products are made by hand in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The results of another collaboration – the small collection of ties with Danish company Danslips – 7 handmade woven striped in all silk repp and 1 knitted, width 6 cm, designed by Sergei Sviatchenko for a perfect double Four-In-Hand knot – will be presented as well.
