The Windmill Club collaboration
Close Up And Private, recently collaborated with The Windmill Club. Building off of its collections of dead stock silk neckwear, The Windmill Club now presents its first set of shirting. The shirts are made in the USA of traditional oxford cloth. Slim fit, with a spread club collar. Founder/creative director of The Windmill Club and co-author of Fuck Yeah Menswear, Kevin Burrows, call these shirts "Double zero tackle twill numbers sewn on back. Shamanistic sportswear. Acid Americana. Peyote prep." Sergei created an abstract feature, working with shape and color, creating a sculptural collage, whilst keeping it in the known CUAP style.

x AJANAKU GENTLEMAN
Some of you already know, Ajanaku www.ajanaku.com is a fan of CLOSE UP AND PRIVATE. A while back CUAP compiled a list of scrupulous style cues for gentlemen. For AJANAKU, Sergei added to this list by focusing on what true Gentlemen should avoid.
Would you agree that the CLOSE UP AND PRIVATE x AJANAKU Gentleman:
: should avoid all kind of sportswear, except when you do sports
: should be able to tie your own bowtie
: the shirt should always be down in the pants
: if you choose to fasten the top shirt button, so please note that a tie or bow should follow
: if pants are too long, do not fold them, but go to a tailor and have them made
: stay away from shirts with dark colored buttons
: when wear a jacket, do not under any circumstances have a t-shirt underneath. A jacket wears with a shirt. And never fold up the sleeves on a jacket
: the watch you wear should be elegant and classic. Not something that sparkle colors. The same applies backpacks and all other accessories
